The home is located on 4000 m2 (one acre) of land with vineyard, orange and tangerine bomb and, lemon, apple, plum, cherry, fig and chestnut trees and more green in the pine forest.

In addition to the porch there is a very large outdoor area to enjoy the surrounding nature. The village is 2.0 km away and can be easily reached on foot or by bicycle. On the way back it is a bit of a climb.Quinta no Pinhal



COIMBRA aquaductThe region is perfect for walking or cycling. You can also go swimming at one of the river beaches with clear fresh water or after 3 pm, in the large pool at the owners’ farmhouse at 10 min walking distance.

kanoen op mondegoCanoe trips are also offered as well as other activities such as rappel and slide, BTT etcetera. The ancient university city of Coimbra is 25 km away and offers a lot of culture and many shopping streets in the old town. Here one can also enjoy the typical Portuguese fado music.


The Atlantic Ocean with wide sandy beaches and plenty of space is approximately 45 km away. In the village you can find all basic amenities and more, such as a supermarket, smaller shops, cafes, bakeries and a few restaurants. Wi-Fi is available in various places in the village. Quinta no Pinhal


In this region, called the Pinhal Interior, because of the great number of pine trees, also exist a lot of olive orchards, eucalyptus and citrus trees but also cork oaks and of course the big amount of "vinhas" vineyards. In spring the mimosa with it´s typical yellow sweet smelling flowers decorates this region. Often you will meet the peasant cart with the dunkey. A lot of the portugese people here live of agriculture. In the summer there are a lot of markets and festivals with music and dancing to honour the saint.
