If you come from Lisbon

1. Taxi or Metro and Train

You can take the metro (3 haltes) (3 stops) to the railway station Lisboa Oriente (costs about 3 euro, takes about 10 minutes). Take the train to Coimbra-B. The ride takes 2 hours. The price of the ticket is about 20 euro (depends on the type of railway train you take Alpha Pendular or the IC). 

From 06.30 until 22.00 there goes almost each hour a railway train to Coimbra.( more info at www.cp.pt ) , choose English version). From Coimbra-B you can walk (about 15 minutes) or take a taxi ( € 5,-) to the busstation (Rodoviaria). There you can take the bus to Vila Nova de Poiares where you will stay the first 2 nights.

2.Bus:

Taxi and bus to Coimbra: You can take a taxi to the bus station of Rede Expressos in Sete Rios (costs about 8 euro). At the bus station of Rede Expressos you take the bus to Coimbra. The ride to Coimbra takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes and it costs about 14 euro. Timetable time of departures from Lisbon working- and Sunday

Sunday:          12.30 en 17.30

You can also take a taxi. When you do this please let the taxi take you to the busstation in Vila Nova de Poiares (´terminal dos autocarros´).

Transfer Coimbra-Quinta no Pinhal

If you come from Porto

1.Train: 

From the airport you can take the Metro to the railway station Porto-Campanha (it takes about 35 minuten and the Metro departs every 20 minutes . you have to change at Trindade, leave the metro at the leftside). From Porto-Campanha you can take the train to Coimbra-B. This trip lasts 1 hour and from 5:45 to 21:45 ;almost every hour a train departs, it costs about € 17,50. ( more info at www.cp.pt ). From Coimbra-B you can walk (about 15 minutes) or take a taxi ( € 5,-) to the busstation. There you take the bus to Vila Nova de Poiares where you will stay the first 2 nights at Quinta no Pinhal.

2.Bus: 

From the airport you can take the Metro to the stop (Campo) 24 de Agosto. From there you can take the "Rede Expressos" bus. The metro departs every 20 minutes . The bus trip takes 1½ hour (costs € 13,-). In Coimbra take the bus to Vila Nova de Poiares where you will stay the first 2 nights. When you arrive at Vila Nova de Poiares we can pick you up after a call to the Quinta.

If you go to Lisbon

We will bring you to the busstation where you can take the bus from Vila Nova de Poiares to Coimbra, trip time 50 minutes.

Saturday:       08:00; 10.15; en 13.30

Sunday:          08:15; 13:15.

You can also take a taxi, costs about € 29,-.

1. Train:

You are going to the train station Coimbra-B and take a train to Lisbon Oriente. The train departs from 6:45 uur to 21:45 alomst every hour and the trip takes 2 hours (more info at www.cp.pt ). From the station you can go by Metro(3 stops)or take a taxi (costs € 8,-) to the airport.

2. Bus:

At the busstation in Coimbra you can take the Rede-Expressos to Lisbon trip time 2¼ hours). From the busstation Sete-Rios you can take the bus or take a taxi to the airport.

At Porto-Campanha you can take the metro to the airport (trip time about 35 minutes, departure of the metro every 20 minutes. You have to change at Casa da musica).

2.Bus: 

At the bus station take the Rede-Expressos to Porto. The Rede-Expressos bus station is Campo 24 de Agosto where you can take the metro to the airport, The trip takes 30 minutes and the metro departs every 20 minute.
